Blue Egg Nourishment will feature handcrafted ferments at January’s What’s for Dinner? event

What’s for Dinner? January 2016 will feature ferments prepared by Tamara Sheen, founder of Blue Egg Nourishment, crafting “simple foods for complex times.”

Tamara Blue EggTamara is a Certified Healing Foods Specialist and loves to teach and instill her passion in others. Cooking for and with people for over 20 years, she has most recently concentrated on nutrient dense foods for sensitive systems.

Tamara has also been involved for many years with the Camphill Movement in North America, where she led a vocational workshop at Beaver Farm, preparing weekday lunches for the entire community, and ferments for the houses.

Using a holistic approach, she brings awareness to local, seasonal and uncontaminated ingredients, letting them stand for themselves with only gentle and traditional methods of preparation and transformation.

Check her facebook page, “Blue Egg Nourishment” for what she offers, and stay tuned to find out which ferments will be featured at our event.  For more information about our farm to table dinner, please visit www.camphillkimberton.org/whatsfordinner.
