Fiber arts

In Fiber Arts we prefer to use natural fibers, mainly sheep wool. We find that this warm, soft material has therapeutic properties. We receive raw fleece as donations and in the process of washing, dyeing, fluffing, spinning and knitting it, we get a real connection to its origin. Some of it is used in felting. Our process goes from sheep to shop, where you can buy our knitted hats, felted balls and needle felted nativity sets among other things. Our results are only limited by our imagination!

The Fiber Arts studio occupies Rosemary, sometimes also called ‘the Hut’. This beautiful little pentagonal building, formerly the tower of Rose Hall, has had several uses over the years.
