Kimberton Hills crafters exhibit at the Kimberton Fair

Kimberton Hills crafters exhibit at the Kimberton Fair

This past week was the annual Kimberton Fair, held just down the road from our village here in Kimberton, Pennsylvania.

The Kimberton Community Fair was first held in 1929.  It was the chartering year of the Kimberton Fire Company, and the Fair was held as a fund-raiser to support the volunteer department’s fire truck and equipment needs. The Fair has been held every year since, with the exception of one year during World War II.  Today the Fair is the Fire Company’s single largest revenue producing event. The agricultural and home art exhibits, fun-filled contests, and farm livestock shows make it truly a unique event in our community.

A number of Camphill Village Kimberton Hills crafters were represented in the Home Arts & Family Living Exhibits. Several folks entered their fiber arts projects, including woven items and hand spun yarn.  A few entries and winners are featured below.

Congratulations to our amazing fiber artists!
