Melvin Chen is Professor in the Practice of Piano at the Yale School of Music and Director of the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival/Yale Summer School of Music. He was founding Associate Director of the Bard College Conservatory of Musix from 2005 until 2012.
The program will consist of solo piano works by the Czech composer Leoš Janáček and Mendelssohn’s Sonata Op. in B flat Major for Cello and Piano, with cellist Robert Martin.
