Community Connections
Network with local leaders at the Camphill Kimberton Café
Join us on the first Friday of every month from 8:30–9:30 a.m. for a free networking breakfast designed to connect local community leaders and nurture Chester County’s nonprofits and small businesses.
Presented by the Start Local podcast and Camphill Village Kimberton Hills, our Community Connections breakfasts are headlined by a featured guest from a Start Local episode. After a brief interview and Q&A with our featured guest, the hour is dedicated to informal introductions and organic conversation to help local leaders in Chester County make meaningful connections.
Registration for the networking breakfasts is limited to 15 participants to encourage one-on-one interaction. Coffee and pastries will be provided from local Phoenixville cafés and bakeries. Register below to save your seat for our next event!
Start Local podcasts highlight individuals from Chester County and its environs who own or work for nonprofits or small businesses. Their aim is to bring folks committed to doing good in our communities together to share knowledge, engage in conversation, and learn from one another.
Founded in 1972, the mission of Camphill Village Kimberton Hills (CVKH) is to create and maintain a land-based community that supports adults with special needs. Residents at Camphill contribute to CVKH and our local area through biodynamic agriculture; social, craft, cultural, and educational endeavors; and by fostering relationships based on respect and mutual support.
Marian Moskowitz has dedicated her career to growing and strengthening Chester County. After four decades as a responsible local developer, she ran for Commissioner in 2019 because she believes that everyone deserves to live in a safe and prosperous community. Marian will be our featured guest for the Sept. 5th event to address the topic of balancing open land vs. affordable housing.
