Community Connections

Network with local leaders at the Camphill Kimberton Café

Join us on the first Friday of every month from 8:30–9:30 a.m. for a free networking breakfast designed to connect local community leaders and nurture Chester County’s nonprofits and businesses.

Presented by the Start Local Podcast and Camphill Village Kimberton Hills, and made possible by generous gifts from the Camphill Foundation and Quaker Smith Capital, our Community Connections breakfasts are headlined by a featured guest from a Start Local episode. After a brief interview and Q&A with our guest, we transition to open discussion to help civic-minded attendees in Chester County make meaningful connections.

Season 2 begins September 4th! Stay tuned for more information.

Registration for the free networking breakfasts is limited to 15 participants to enable deep and meaningful interaction among the small group. Coffee and pastries are provided from local Phoenixville cafés and bakeries (including 260 Bridge, Soltane Café, and Café Com Leite). Register below for our next event!

The Start Local Podcast interviews business and nonprofit leaders from and around Chester County. The aim of the show is to bring folks committed to doing good in our communities together to share knowledge, engage in conversation, and learn from one another.

Founded in 1972, Camphill Village Kimberton Hills’ mission is to create and maintain a land-based community that supports adults with special needs. Residents of Camphill contribute to CVKH and our local area through biodynamic agriculture; social, craft, cultural, and educational endeavors; and by fostering relationships based on respect and mutual support.
